Marika competed at the Tallinn Horse Show CDI1*, where she was second in both Prix St. Georges and Intermediate-1 Freestyle. As Marika usually rides Grand Prix, she had a hard time with her freestyle, as Orlando kept trying to do passage instead of that plain and boring trot!
This week it will be a trip to Helsinki Horse Show and Marika is going to bring along a new freestyle!
Marii-Heleen and Ave took performed the THS show program with Helifar and Ounce of Gold, they were part of the 12-horse quadrille. Here are some pictures by Külli Tedre. You can see more of the Tallinn Horse Show pictures here: http://www.kyllitedre.com
On September 17 and 18 we had a clinic with the accomplished Swedish GP rider and dressage trainer Nina Bengtsson.
Nina was visiting Estonia with her fiancee Mikis. We had some very useful and fun sessions and we hope we are able to invite them back again!

Our girls Ave and Marii-Heleen participated in the FEI World Dressage Challenge competition this weekend. They did really good, Marii won both the Preliminary and Elementary Junior Classes. They also took part in the clinic following the competition with the FEI 4* judges Mrs Margaret Hansen and Alla Subbotina. The picture is taken after the clinic, on Helifar and Ounce of Gold.
Our stable was featured in the Estonian “Oma Hobu” magazine, August issue. The story is about the history of the place, the buildings, stable facilities and dressage camps.

The storks at Järlepa Manor watch our training sessions with big interest and sometimes step into the dressage ring themselves… // Järlepa mõisa kured jälgivad huviga treeninguid ja mõnikord astuvad ka ise koolisõiduaeda…
Here is a video of Marika and Orlando P at the Tallinn Horse Show CDI1* 2010. Usually Marika rides at the Big Tour level (GP) with Orlando, but this time they created a Intermediate-1 Freestyle especially for the home audience in Tallinn, as the Tallinn CDI1* did not offer GP classes.
On Saturday, March 26th Marika and Eva-Maria spent a great day in Finland, at the dressage clinic at Voistio Manor, Hollola. The place is about 1,5h drive from Helsinki, in scenic country setting. It is a nice and hospitable private stable with an interesting historical flair and a beautiful arena with lots of room for riders and stands for the public. The day was a bit shorter because some last-minute horse transportation problems (we have all been there, I am sure!) but we still had a chance to work with some nice capable riders and lovely horses.
We had a really good time and I hope that so did the riders and spectators! Many thanks to Penina from Palomaan Ponitalli for all your hard work in setting this up!
This is our new ad in the Estonian horse magazine “Oma Hobu”, February 2011 issue. “Oma Hobu” is the only Estonian equestrian magazine. It is published by-monthly, covering the news about horse management, breeding, equestrian sports and the Estonian horse community happenings in general.
